About Us

Background
In January 2014 Pop Up World Foundation was established to promote unique events at ever-changing and surprising locations (pop-up). Now you can find and explore events you do not not want to miss. In 2012 we started our research. The mapping brought us to amazing places and in contact with amazingly people. We found more than 700 organisations that organise such initiatives.Pop Up Week
To show the strength and diversity of pop-ups, Pop Up World Foundation will organise Pop Up Week Amsterdam 2014.Our aim
Pop Up Foundation wants to beautify Amsterdam, with and for the people of Amsterdam and its visitors. We want to entice tourists to visit not only the well-known tourist spots, but also explore “new and temporary” hidden gems. Pop-ups give a city its beauty. These experiences will give you new energy and inspiration!

Pop Up Foundation is a volunteer organisation. If you want to help us beautify the city of Amsterdam, please consider filling in the online registration form to participate with your own pop-up event or to join us as a volunteer.
